Entry Level ASP.NET Web Application Developer

KMI develops primarily within a Microsoft ASP.NET and SQL Server environment, including ASP.NET 3.5, AJAX and handheld computing. Located in Oakville, Ontario, we have an immediate need for energetic, delivery focused and highly self motivated Web Application Developers with a demonstrated ability to design and implement cutting edge web applications.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or related
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Training/Experience in ASP.NET
- Training/Experience in SQL
Required Skills:
- 1+ years ASP.NET Development (experience with version 3.5 required)
- must demonstrate proficiency with Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET
- 1+ years SQL Server 2005
- ability to understand and develop against database schemas
- must demonstrate proficiency with Transact-SQL scripting and Stored Procedures
- 1+ years web development
- must have User Control and Server Control development experience
- must demonstrate proficiency with HTML and the DOM
- must have working knowledge of client side development and AJAX including ASP.NET AJAX
Other Relevant Experience:
- Windows SharePoint Services (version 3.0 preferred)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- IIS Administration (Web, ASP.NET, SMTP, FTP)
- SubVersion, NUnit, log4net, CruiseControl
- Object Relational Mapping
- Experience with .NET handheld development
- GUI design
- Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
